Looks like Power Lunch will have one fewer head in that Octobox.
Bill Griffeth is familiar to anyone who has watched CNBC. He is one of our long time anchors on “Power Lunch” and a steady star in the business news galaxy.
Well, he’s taking a leave of absence from CNBC for a year. His last day will be Wednesday November 25. But he promises to stay closely connected to CNBC throughout his leave.
The clip above is pretty classic if you get a chance, it’s from FNN in 1987 featuring Ron Insana with hair and Bill Griffeth with his Ron Burgundy vintage stash.
Too bad, it’s one more step away from just reporting the news and into Personality Driven Business News!
