Scenes From a Mall

Well, for the first time in eons I actually ventured to a Mall on Black Friday. And have to say, was quite underwhelmed. It didn’t seem more crowded than a garden variety busy weekend day. Unlike the last post, this pic. is actually from me.
So wtf?
Seems like over the years, Black Friday has gotten just utterly ridiculous. It’s all 5 AM blowout sales of 3 items that will still be on sale next week anyway. And mostly from chains that are not even in malls, like Costco or Target or Best Buy or Toys R Us. Oh, and every retailer that has my email address has a deal for me too online between now and Monday. Between all that and the fact that by noon everyone is probably back home sleeping seemed to equal not much in the way of crowds.
And oh yeah, who wants to shop while Dubai debt is melting, lol.
