ITMN Update

Well, wrote that prior post last night to send out this morning. It looks like I beat the news by a half hour, but that's moot as the options were not open yet anyway. And it's double moot since that was all hypothetical.

Little secret: I don't write posts at 6AM, they're generally from the night before. Other little secret: It's way easier to just pick prices off the board and assume you can get simultaneous good fills on all of them. That's why it's easier to write up trades then actually execute them, there's no such thing as paper slippage. SPY with penny wide markets is one thing, a small biotech when they're 20 cents wide is quite another.

What I was after was the concept on how you have to look at these binary biotech plays. You need to either play very wide or very small, and/or you need to place your bets with spreads. Unless of course your bunny has a good nose on the results, in which case you don't need me to begin with.

But good news, this won't be the last time a small biotech waits with bated breathe for an FDA panel.
